The Training Has Begun...
for the IMT Des Moines Marathon on October 19th. Okay, I'm running the half marathon (training should have begun way before now if I was doing the full). Still even 13.27 miles is a sizable distance. The thing is, I love variety. I love my bosu ball, spinning, and boot camp classes at Prairie Life Fitness Gym. I love running (especially on cool Fall mornings!), but I can't run every day. I read my Runner's World magazine and am amazed at these people that run every day. Maybe that is what you have to do to be great. I don't really have a training plan for this half marathon in a few months, but I ran it before a few years ago and I did Dam to Dam in June. I should be okay, right??!
