This painted American flag is our new 4th of July tradition. It is so cute and made with only three ingredients; Cornstarch, cold water and food coloring (equal parts of cornstarch and water). Mix it up and then all you need is a couple of paint brushes.
Megan and Lucy had a ball doing this. I was amazed that it worked so well. Then notice the trickle of water behind them in the picture? That we me panicking halfway through because the paint worked so well that I had to test a little bit to make sure it did indeed wash off with water. It did. ;-) Now I am also thinking that Max would love it if we painted roads and he could roll his cars along it. Next time!
