The Ledges is known for its awesome hiking trails. I just love it when trails go off on all different tangents and you have a fun little butterfly feeling in your stomach like you just might get lost.
Lucy and Megan are like their mom in that they love to hike and explore. They are like their Dad in that they like to go off roads (this picture was not taken by following the well marked path. After setting up camp we wanted to try out some trails. The girls alternated between playing , Little House on the Prairie, Pocahontas and Harry Potter (and the forbidden forest) as we traversed along. Max was a good sport and took turns riding on his parent's shoulders, only crying as he spotted his sisters and mother crawling across the log. At least one of us had some sense...
